Have You wonder who would win in controlled environment? I think so! Are You sick of dry numbers and want to check out how it's working in game? Well, here you have it!

Heavy Tank Destoryers Competition!
I will show you in controlled environment which tanks are best!
We will begin battle between Soviet Union and Ostheer. Then we will proceed to US Forces and Oberkomando West. Finall battle will be between winners in these 2 groups.
Let's see if you can predict best 5 in poll!
I wish luck to our participants and pray to RNG God!

Rules are simple:

First clash:
Far/med range and front armor

Second clash:
Close range and front armor

Play-off if needed:
Close range and rear armor

Good luck for M36 and E8 :foreveralone:

Our first battle is battle between.... Panther and KV-2

Weird poll, there are so much costs differences between those TDs that it is really hard to compare them.

Voted Panther for the cost/power ratio (i'm biased, i just love that tank ;))

Panther no question. Due to its crazy armor, Blitz, Possible Smoke, Huge HP pool and it can bleed infantry if they dare not retreat from it.

The PTRS's are fine as they are. Whenever i'm up against Guard Infantry, I always have to be careful with my vehicles or the Guards will completely destroy them. Good range, good damage and fairly cheap; if anything, the PTRS should nerfed since it's ridiculously good for the price. Even in the hands of Conscripts, the PTRS's are extremely potent.

I say JagdTiger by far the best tank destroyer. If you support this beast with shrek blobs than its gg for any armor assault.

No Su85? You put E8 and no T3485s? You put assault guns vs TDs? Heavies?

If we are going for a 1v1 competition we know the JT will win (it penetrates 100%). If we take into consideration price, that might be slightly more interesting. You'll need to either do convertions with OKW tanks or take into account teching (call in could be considered by T1+T2 cost)

Worth match ups to see IMO are mirror ones.
E8s vs 85s
SU85 vs JPIV
Tiger vs Panther/Command
IS2 vs Tiger (eventhough we know the result)
IS2 vs TA
TA (old one) vs KT

Well, I skiped SU85 as well as Sherman M4 because Soviets can bring something bigger, while E8 is the biggest one for USF.
And since it's about best tank destroyers, it's obvious that SU85 won't win, but Im planning medium tank edition so please, wait for it! :)

Today I will also introduce round 2 between SU and OST so keep watching! :)

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

I chose Panther because they are just awesome.

It's kind of unfair to compare them to soviet tanks because Soviets are more of a duel purpose vehicles. They are good against both infantry and tanks so they had to sacrifice their anti tank unlike the Germans who's tanks are only meant for killing other tanks so they only excel in that part.

Well, I put KV-2 just to make IS2 and ISU not so lonely vs Tigers, Panthers, Elephants etc :)
Yet, don't be so harsh because once KV2 is locked down, it will win with Panther on distance!

Of course, it's hard to compare if we are talking about Blitz, Smoke, speed etc because it's impossible to compare such thing. That's why such comparison does not have much scientific value but it's all about fun and the simplest way to compare :)


In 2 hours I will introduce 2 more fights (but in fact one) with plenty, plenty and plenty of RNG issue!

I voted the M36 because I expected no one to vote for it and it's my favourite TD in the game but,

Yeah my vote is for the Jagdtiger. In a pure TD roll I can't see how it will be beaten

M4C isn't meant to be there as it is a medium. But you make a tank destroyer competition and you don't put the only tank destroyer the SU has. Garden logic. Again, you put JPIV and not the Su85...cric cri.

Easy 8 isn't exactly a TD or heavy either.

Also for 2 confused lost souls-there is no 2nd vehicle that have as low AT DPS as ISU.

Voted Command Panther because not only is it a Panther, but it's a Panther that can scout for itself. As far as AT duties are concerned, that's worth trading away the Topside MG.

As I promised, 2 new battles!

After defeating KV-2, Panther is pushing Soviets Union. Comrade Stalin is scared and he throws his best heavy tank to fight with Panther! Will IS-2 win against Panther? Let's see...



But that's not the end!
I took under consideration difference in cost, that's why I decided that Panther should get vet 2 bonus since it's not about RoF but armor. Did vet 2 Panther deal with IS-2? Great RNG fight!
Let's check who was praying more!
