Inverse: Well, you're in the minority. 15 minutes is an eternity when it comes to waiting in a matchmaking queue; there's a reason a company like Valve aims to keep its queues to under 5 minutes in its competitive games. Not to mention CoH2's tiny player base means

REforever: If Josh Mosqueira was still the lead designer for CoH2 at Relic, I honestly think CoH2 would be in much better shape. He basically kept CoH competitively viable, so it's too bad he isn't working on CoH2.

REforever: If CoH2 doesn't have bad matchmaking then it has to be that CoH2 has LESS players than CoH1 did. I remember being able to find matches in a few minutes constantly against top100-200 players.

REforever: Of course matchmaking isn't giving me bad matches on purpose but I'd rather wait an extra 5-15 minutes than be thrown into a game where the enemy are top 10 and i'm stuck with someone in the 1000's.

Inverse: SC2 doesn't have that problem because there's a far larger pool of active players, meaning more high-rated players, meaning better matchups. An algorithm won't matter if nobody close to your rank is searching.
