Is it just me... Shreck blobs seem to be unreal now.

Only played a few games under the new patch. Has the vet requirements for Volks etc changed though? Had a fresh squad of Volks take out a Comet, and ended up as Vet 2.

The shreck blobs seem to be.... Just a bit strong now...

the past week or so when the veterancy didn't work.

I think the balance were better when veterancy didn't work.

Hehe, they buffed Volks because they sucked so hard. Now they finally fixed the reason of their initial weakness.

Ofc allies winning left and right (spent a lot of time spectating games, and axis were hardly winning 30% of their matches), 1v1s, 2v2s and even 3v3+ (which was always where axis had their strong point) was indeed perfect balance. Tss kids.

I usually play 3vs3 and when there are two or more OKW players I know there will be shrek blobs. So keep armour to a minimum.

Have you considered making your own mod, as per Brad's balance advice?

Weird. Doesn't match at all what i was seeing with my own eyes. Maybe because i don't spec top 150 games.

are you volunteering to play whatever balance mod I make? Getting enough people to play it is the hard part.

I think the assumption from Brad is that once you've made a mod you then have to get all your friends, and anyone else you want to play with, to use it.

Another option would be for the game to be well balanced by the people who made it. I think they're actually paid to (attempt to) do that.

Makes sense.. IS and Engineers do seem stronger to compensate. Not sure whether the former will still be donating their weapons at Vet 3.

There's always going to be balance issues after a fix of this magnitude - going from coh2charts alone the game was finely balanced overall without infantry vet.

Give it a weeek or so I guess...

Unless you've plugged yourself to the servers and have seen ALL the games happening, what you've seen is irrelevant since we have access to actual statistic, not perfect one, but as accurate as it gets.

I haven't played any games so far this patch, but I can only imagine the blobs' now that vet actually works. OKW ladder ranks will inflate a lot.
