As I stated before:Today I learned that no unit OPness can be discussed without ridicule on these forums because someone made a topic predicting unit OPness will be discussed.
Their cloak is the real killer. It persists too long outside of cover, IMO. Only intermittent cover is needed to go around completely unnoticed. Which is of dubious validity even on snipers, let alone on a squad that is on par with Shock troops in close range DPS.

Commandos do (ish) from what I can tell. I was messing around with this last night vs. the AI to see how hold fire + cover jumping worked as an ambush strategy. It was kind of buggy from what I could tell as the cloak didn't seem to activate right away in cover so there is either a delay or it's some kind of "time after out of combat" type deal. But when it does activate it does hang on similar to the Ost. Sniper.

commandos are dam opp they are very effective i still get nightmares vs breaking bad on a 2v2 i lost 3 volsk vs 1 dam commandos never saw that could be possible
