Can a moderator change the title to Hotfix - Basebuildings in Fog of War, please? It doesn't solve the problem 100%

I suspect relic might want to fix base buildings "properly" instead of through Stafkeh's brute force approach but I'd much rather have an ugly fix than no fix at all.

He didn't fix the bug, he just removed it, per say. The problem is the splat shows up in the fog, the fix Relic wants is to make the splat invisible in the fog until spotted. All OP did was just remove the splat, which does work, but is also very ugly.

But by all means, everyone jump on the bandwagon.

Indeed, thats why I asked to rename the thread. But I would prefare playing with this, instead of with the version that shows the splat in the game.

Lol... I for one thought this is some bug(feature) deeper in game engine. Good job man. This should be hotfixed.

I'm betting Relic isn't okay with comprising the quality of their building models for the sake of gameplay, those models are pretty damn ugly.

All OP did was just remove the splat, which does work, but is also very ugly.

Took some pictures in high quality. I think it still looks great?

To be completely honest, it actually looks pretty nice. What about Wehrmacht and OKW structures?

I assume USF's base is untouched, since it looks the same nomatter what.

USF is untouched indeed. If Relic can't fix the problem 100% before next patch I wouldn't care if they use a solution like this.

Not bad honestly. A little rough around the edges compared to Soviet buildings, but I wouldn't actually mind it this way if they cannot fix the stamps.

Actually after seeing these screen shots, the models don't look bad at all. I would much rather have this as a temporary fix than nothing at all. Well done!
