I dont like relying on obers though. They have such an mp bleed, and I've seen them wiped too often on rng. Would it be wort it to go stg doc for them? |
Thanks for the tips. I've been having some success using pfuliers and the g43. I've just given up dislodging an mg early on and go to another area. Generally with careful preservation I can negate the early fuel disadvantage. Crcodile is still an instant "T" hit though soon as I see it. |

^^^^^ essentially they rely on docs to cover weaknesses. Such as breakthrough doc is the best way to cover the gap between volks and obers. Personally though I usually go elite armored for sturmtiger to kill blobs which are present in large team games. |
OKW early in right hands>USF.
But OKW has no solution for Maxim spam/guards/into T70, so they're balanced.
yes in a 1v1 situation okw>usf. In team games which most people are talking about. They can be outright over run. I do hate guards into t-70. |
To those saying there are no weaknesses and that mgs dont work. You clearly are talking of a unsupported mg. an mg in the back of an dancing inf attack will defeat the okw inf in combat. Leigs help turn the tide but you can push aggresive early before that gets out, and its not always guaranteed to turn the tide.
MGs, mgs, mgs, arty, arty ,arty. Will work on them, especially in team games.
flank, flank, flank! Especially exploit this in team games. OKW early on AI with INF is shit w/o doc. UKF and USF match ups can exploit this lack of Ai power if coordinated correctly.
You can literally wreck them enough early-mid game and make the game lost before late game hits. As for late game..arty behind a good def line works wonders. This OKW is invincible myth needs to go.
Mistakes to not make.... going heavy on armor use vs okw. Keeping your weapon teams static if go heavy on a build of them. As okw player, if you only make a few weapons teams and move them around..im not gonig to waste the fuel on a stuka. If you go heavy use and keep them generally in the same spot..I'll make a stuka. |
what is the current OKW meta vs UKF in 1v1? For all the OKW op threads.. I cant beat UKF early on with inf and it spirals into relying on them making mistakes in the mid-late game to turn the tide. Against the more seasoned UKF players its just a snowball effect on the map. Do I need to choose a doc with mg34? |
I see alot of points here. Please understand I'm speaking of larger team games here. This is a mode where people can cover gapes in your strategy design.
note: so a volks blob attacked a vikers head on right down the center and killed the vickers....I'm guessing atleast one squad came in from the side of the arc and throw a grenade and the vickers burned. Typically i see vickers suppress and other inf come in and take advantage of the suppression. |
I'll restructure my statement here to a question. Why do some feel that mgs are not needed vs okw? I know the maxim sucks but it does its job well vs okw, and does little to OST. Vickers is not bad at all either. |
