Ppl. played with the idea of modding walls out of AoE2, to make it more aggressive.
It did the opposite. Compettetive players always having most of their army at home, so that they are not caught off-guard and lose all of their eco.
While its an interesting theoretical experiment, i think changing coh to such a degree would make it almost exclusivly vehicle focussed and the early game would be slow as heck.
