This would be a good feature. Only retreating crews that are reduced to 1 man should still survive.
Obviously this benefits Ostheer more than soviets, because the survivability of it is realllly inconsistant. Mortar squads itself are prone to RNG, buggy pack ups during retreat and is fragile (not for Soviets).
Only fix the 1 man retreat if the buggy/laggy pack ups are fixed. It's only fair...
It makes sense for AT guns to retreat, but not for mortars.... Why don't HMGs do the same then? The 120mm wheely thing can survive with 1 guy running around and not cowering away.... The logic isn't consistant. |
What are you on about? You reply 5mins after my edit instantly after my post, and I basically said you havent played enough if you think that wiping doesnt occur if you don't cluster. I figured I didnt want to argue. Yeah didnt even read the rest of my post. PAK wiping isn't an issue. |
@kreatiir
PAKs can't/don't clutter, but they get 1 shotted quite easily. That's the main problem.
"Fixing/tweaking" unit AI/cluttering is a lot more difficult and dramatic, than simply nerfing the AI of the ISU and buffing it's AT.

You can't prevent a decent player from getting a quick ISU. With even map control a player can have enough fuel for 1.5 ISUs at 20 mins.
As ostheer u need to spam several P4s (+ tiger ace), get dual tigers (less effective) or get an elefant which is a decent.
OKW just need a jadgepanzer and reverse to your repair truck for a quick repair after getting hit. |
Can't snipe. It makes more sense and would allow ostheer snipers to safely counter snipe even if it's still more risky. Bring back counter sniping!
I'd prefer this penalty rather than nerfing the unit... solves some of the issues with a 2 man sniper squad. |
RageoftheSixYearOld always calls people noobs when he gets outplayed and loses, regardless of arty abuse bug lol |
@atouba
Haven't you seen the realistic movie Enemy at the Gates? Soviet sniper always have to be in pairs, it's illogical and against faction design if it was any less.
The only major weakness of the 222 is that it comes out too late against M3 flamers. It dies to cheap soviet mines too easily, but get a minesweeper I suppose. Too bad that minesweeper pios basically can't get vet...... |
Hmgs don't make sense in coh 2. How is the maxim better or even equal to the mg42? It's WWI vs WWII.....
The mg34 should theoretically be a cheaper and inferior gun to the mg42.
The olber mg34 is just a level 8 enchanted mg34, so of course it is a more powerful gun than the normal variants. |
Although it's under performing, it's not extinct. ISU performs largely better against everything else in comparison.
Well, the elefant can deflect 50% of most AT shots with its 200mm armour. Opponents will always focus on it, so it's a great tank to soak dmg for your P4s. It has a hull mg and can randomly snipe like PAKs, so you may get a decent amount of inf dmg.
It counters ISU, so it's worth it there. Even if the elefant doesn't get to finish off tanks, at least your PAKs won't get wiped since the elefant can scare it off. It performs better synergy with a P4 than a P4 + tiger against ISU.
Its mostly an overpriced tanky 'shield', area of denier and a magnet for flanking (which is a pro). Don't get it against US, that's all. |
It's fine. The penetrate on is too low against heavy tanks, but that's a problem with the call in system timing and cheapness. Heavy tank call ins (including kv1/8) should have 1-2 CP increase and all tanks (even mediums) should require teching.
Tieing heavies to tech won't be enough to delay heavy tank rushes, since most can afford it at 20 mins. A small CP increase is also needed.
This vehicle should be meta instead of tiger rush. |
