Actually, it is not that fun when you manage to flank and are about to cut off enemy point, then a wild m10 appear from nowhere forcing troop to retreat through enemy frontline.
And all players in here know how quickly m10 can teleport from side to another.

I will admit as much as I like crushing it should be nerfed, running a Cromwell into 4 upgraded volk squads and wiping nearly 3 of them is retarded they didn't even get a chance to shoot off 1 panzershreck since running vehicles into them forces the models to move and hence they cant stand still to shoot.
My suggestion would be after 3 crushes in a very small time frame make it slow the vehicle just enough to disallowing it to continue crushing.. It's a stupid mechanic even though I abuse it and its stupidly easy.

If you spread out your infantry, crush goes from being OP to being suicide for the tank.

It's fine, it forces you to get into close range with your tanks instead of kiting and puts you in danger. Counterplay is obviously using a snare and not standing near objects and walls begging to be wiped. Spread out your units and you will be fine. If there is nothing protecting your infantry to punish rushing a tank at them then you were outplayed.
