Stick a 70muni LMG on a rifle squad and suddenly they can go up against LMG obers and win just because of suppression with instant pop defensive stance. Buy two on one squad and suddenly they mow down everything that moves.
My suggestions
1. Add a small muni cost for def stance like RET's suppression fire
2. Add in a 5 second setup time where the squad is immobile and cannot fire
3. Take away some accuracy like relic did with the ober MG34 nerf
m1919 rifles are overperforming

Yeah the problem with the M1919 is in addition to being part of LMG cancer meta it also has a stance that is used in literally the opposite of it's name.
It should just be unable to be toggled once in combat.

The sad thing is that defensive stance used to make sense. At the beginning of WFA, defensive stance couldn't be toggled in combat, which meant that players had to set up ahead of yime, and retreat to dodge grenades. This became a problem because rifle grenades could be fires and negate def. stance. The resulting fix also made def stance use able in combat, which is why it seems you be the way it is now.

The commander it's in has no late game abilitity. Lack of para drop AT gun or Greyhound means you have to go Captain-which means no M20, AA Track, or HMG. That means a Sniper can bleed those Rifles into infinity. As OKW, Panzerfusiliers are an answer.
As OKW vs Infantry Company fast Luchs can be effective, as well as fully teching to King Tiger + Jagdpanzer to kill Jacksons. Obers are something I would not recommend, as well as aggressive truck placement. Seriously, do NOT place trucks trucks aggressively vs this commander.
Aggressive infantry support gun usage is possible also, but difficult.

I posted about this a while ago, and even as a player that mainly plays USF, I agree. I think that defensive stance should have a small munitions cost or some other kind of drawback.
SteamId is missing for user id Antilles950. You can add it in your profile settings. Alternatively you can use your SteamId directly.

should code they can't get into stance once in combat but can cancel the stance in combat but once it is out of stance, the unit can't go back into the stance as long as they are still in combat

This commander sucks overall, vet3 2 brownings rifles BARELY beat vet3 lmg grens (at least on long range) and if you drop one for volks you turn them into obers squad.

If you seriously think 1919's suck and the Mortar HT sucks, well, just lol.
The Priest is also very fun because you don't have to pay the pop cap for it, just fire and decrew it.

This commander is good vs OKW on choke point maps, that's its role. Vs Ostheer it's not good because mortars, Riflenades, and Tiger.
