Sorry but I wouldn't even try to engage Obers with Cons

it is not 1v1 situation. obviously cons will lose. as the game goes on, OKW can build elite units such as obers, Fallschirmjaegers, etc. But what happens to your conscript? free xp for the Germans! Like Cruzz said, they will get decimated late game.

And yet Von ivan uses them fine thoughout all parts of the game.

Cruzz got face stomped by OKW by hans with merely rifle spam and yet he still advocates allies. I would take whatever he says with a grain of salt.
