i had to wait 30 minutes to get a game, not once, not twice, but three times. When alpha was released, all the alpha testers where told they would get into the closed beta aswell, so that is an old news, but ofc that was the time when THQ was around. Seems Sega liked the idea.

Me and Tommy managed to get games pretty fast. Waiting maximum 4 mins for a game, maybe it's the time you were playing at?

What i'm saying is that this was clearly a marketing move to get those few extra pre-orders sold.
Of course more players means better feedback, but Lynx said "Closed Beta will be limited to pre-order customers only. THQ code holders (from shows like Eurogamer Expo) will be phased in shortly later. We are showing priority to our pre-order customers as a thank you for supporting us."
What they should have done is let all the players in from the begining - which is what they actually did + plus sold a few more games.
They've done nothing wrong. People that pre-ordered are people who were going to buy the game either way, most likely, the Beta just gave them a better reaosn to do it now, rather than later.
The company clearly stated that everyone would have access at a later time, it could have been 24 hours, or two weeks from release date. Regardless of why they did what they did, the Greater Good of the Game supercedes all others! /Tau

i guess so many players play 3v3-4v4, that me and preda couldnt get a game in 2v2. I dunno, it was always 2 players found and even 3 players found, back to 2 players.

Personally me, I wanted to try beta and see if i will buy the game. I asked via Twitter if they allow Alpha tester and they didn't say a word about it, so it looked like they no longer allowing Alpha testers, that's why i preordered.
They said performance increased 2.5x, but for me performance increase like 10% at best, which make game unplayable, and i am already regretting for preordering it. So don't say everyone would buy it anyways.

During the beta performance is likely not going to be as good as the full game - a big part of betas is getting data from tons of other machines and using that to implement the final performance improvements that are left out until the very end of development.

I am trying to post map feedback but keep getting the following error:

There are no URLs and I really can't see any forbidden words. I even changed "bottom" to "southern" and "fighting" to "action" just in case.
I managed to post the name of the map and my score, but when I pasted my remaining text I got this error again.

Yeah it's a weird glitch affecting a lot of people, just post around with a few shorter posts and you'll lose the block.

I added my post almost sentence by sentence. In the end I found the offending phrase and changed "I suggest" to "I recommend".

Ultimately if you're playing the game to make it so it's not enjoyable for other people to be playing the game then we'd rather you not play the game. Sure, be competitive and try to win but if your goal is to troll then go play Call of Duty.

There are tons of CoH2 beta gameplay videos on youtube from guys, who are braindead or just don't give a fcuk.
Either way, nice way for people, who didn't preorder and want to get a clue about game
