Sherman spam is really annoying in 2v2 and above. For the rest everything seems close to perfectly balanced. Just nerf Sherman a bit.

I really dont see how the sherman is balanced. Its really quick, it shoots fast and penetrate almost every shot and its cheap. Not to mention it totally wrecks infantry.

Sherman shouldnt be any better than a P4 yet it wins easily.

Less armor than a T34 at 150 compared to 160. Same speed as a T34, but faster acceleration. Costs more than a P4. Its a damage dealer that's squishy. Combined arms with paks are good against them.

Just had an ISU wipe a 4 man Gren and another 2 man Gren squad near it... it's still pretty good vs. infantry :D

Then again, Elephant is still uncounterable since it comes with an anti-artillery package and defeats ISU every time.

Game is fun again!

P.S. The call-in guards in the M5 have 3 PPSHs and 3 SVTs.

Agreed. It is also not that cheap (135 fuel, 380 manpower compared to German T3 and Soviet T3 and T4). Paks with any form of armor next to it takes down the sherman. Fausting it at any point makes it easier. Every time i lost a sherman, its death was started by a panzerfaust.

Nerfing it would make it a t34... it is supposed to be a little different than the t34.

Had few games so far and absolutely love it. I know it's still early for such a statement but the game feels very balanced now. I don't have the impression that either of sides is a bit stronger and I had it quite often in the past. It's all about units, positioning and tactical thinking. T-34/76 can fight again, same goes for T-34/85. Soviet heavies are real threat. I like how T-34 reacts and accelerates. You can "poke" enemy lines with it or go for flank. No more stupid blitz.

I had in a game 2 grens squad and PG squad wiped out *instantly* each one with a diferente 30muni soviet mine. I think I need to start reusing antimines on Pios...

The Puma is nice. Deals good damage, has HEAT shells too. Good vs. SU-85s. Turret turns so slowly though...

A REAL shame so many cool units get locked behind commanders, imagine all the units would be in the core tech tree... how epic would that be? NOW CAN WE PLEASE HAVE PROPER LEADERBOARDS WITH RANKS AND OBS MODE??? so we can get the esport going

Like every other infantry unit in the game other than shocks. PGs still use the best infantry weapon in the game and only lost a tiny amount of short range accuracy. They will still be great for flanking and clearing out support weapons and regular Soviet infantry, to say nothing of using the best infantry-based AT weapon in the game as well.


PGs feel like they got hit a little too hard. They feel a little squishy to fill their assault role. I honestly felt they were fine before, maybe the accuracy nerf was enough, but as a 4 man squad the functions up close, it seems like the 1.2 armor was warranted.

Pgrens don't need to get close, their damage is good at all ranges, the sweet spot is 15 range which is approximately the Molotov throw range. It's also worth to bear in mind that pgrens at about 25-30 range also do more damage than a vanilla grenadier squad at the same range.

Pgren's fire on the move accuracy is also not as good as it once was. So they aren't as effective at running up to squads and melting them like in the patch before the small arms change.

Not really. Single Panther was able to take on multiple T-34/76 without any problem. Been there, done that.


Well I never had Panther win against my pack of T34/76's, It was easy meat.

You must be talking about well supported Panther or playing vs noobs who didn't know what ram was for

P.S. I assume you don't classify 2x T34/76 as 'pack of T34'76's'

Fine. I'll say it: pound for pound, there seems to be more balance, but Sovs will still be OP while Axis squad sizes are smaller. Sovs will always be able to field more shit. I swear to christ, Hans can't open up his lunchbox without a con squad popping out. If your micro is spotless, this might not be a problem, but it seems that the slightest mistake, and you're being pushed back and overwhelmed. How about some upgrade where you can increase squad sizes ?

It's not that simple. Depending on what type of fight you are in, having less men can be an advantage. If you are in an equal fight gren vs con, both squads have the same amount of health, yeah? So that means each individual gren model has more health than each conscript model. This means that it is much more likely for a conscript model to die first, and lose overall DPS.

Of course, lower squad sizes make the unit more vulnerable to AOE and snipers.
