Is it just me or is this "lowering the skill factor" seem to be nonsense, if you can get an early victory but still have to be on your toes to keep wining, does that not require more skill to keep wining? instead of getting really good at the early game and resting on that first victory to basically shut the game down???
Skill is determined by your ability to out think, out play and adapt.
doing the same thing every match is not necessarily skill but more repetition, which anyone can do.
No matter how easy something is you will always get the elite who excel, lower entry levels just means more competition.
to me this buy-in-beta was not to show the world how awesome the game was, but to get a better feeling about how stable it is /is not. the people who bought in / signed up for ages are extremly likely to buy the game regardless of it's final state so relic is using this old version to iron out kinks with servers ect ect
Hi there! I'm a relatively new COH player, played vCOH for a while (started it about 5 months ago) and i got into the COH2 beta and i was loving it right up until it closed
but i was watching the 2v2 tournament casts and that's what led me here!
I absolutely love discussing tactics and learning the raw values of abilities/ units and i hear this is a great place for that!
