I vote for making it a 7CP call-in, make 34/85 non-doc. Have a really long cool down on the call-in ability. |
The hotfix/nerf to Adv Emplacements probably isn't enough, but I think it's more significant than people realize. Previously, the extra HP/armor made incendiary strikes worthless. Flames should now do significantly more damage to even buffed emplacements.
Also, the Ost mortar only has 35 pen. So with it previously buffing armor to 40, a mortar hit had a potential to "bounce". Now you have guaranteed pen with MHTs. An MG in a building with AP rounds can actually do some serious damage. |
I was waiting for you to reply with these. T34-76s aren't THAT bad. Especially when you can mass them. |
The dshka has the same setup time now as the maxim. People still can spam dshkas and a-move them around the map. I don't think it will be as crippling as people might think. Plus, they alluded to a balance preview where maybe they'll test buffing cons or penals. |
I am not sure if you are running a mod, but I literally just launched the game, and the cost for the Jagtiger is:
720MP, 280FU, 21popcap for me.
The values you listed are a bit closer to what the unit cost should have been.
He's looking at the unit cost in the game files or one of those coh2 stat sites. The game uses the call-in commander ability cost, which doesn't show when you look up the individual unit in the game files. |
ehhhhh, I was a little disappointed by this. Your early game was spot on, the kubel pushes and cutoff play really would have delayed anyone's bofors. He was slow to react with the UC. really brilliant early game play on your part.
buttt, He hardly played like cancer regiment. He only built a single bofors, he got weapon racks and bolster BEFORE the bofors and didn't even bother with a mortar pit. He didn't even build the FHQ. |
Interesting discussions. At lower level rank play, I coordinate pushes with cromwell spam, team mates, and arty cover (even post nerf). I realize that's a "ton of resources for one unit" but usually that kind of a coordinated push is pretty back breaking for any axis army. A lot of times all the FHQs are fairly close to whichever VP or fuel point you are pushing, and you end up wiping those as well. Plus, it allows you to secure whichever point you are pushing and have time to dig in with your own forces. |
Great stuff! Thanks for posting! |
Love it! Been doing it since it was just a weeee forum post of yours buried in the State Office. |
