The puma was never the issue, it was the call in CP4.
Being able to skip all teching and get both a good AT vehicle and a fantastic AI vehicle was what put this doctrine over the line.
With the CP4 tied into teching the puma is balanced with forcing you to get locked into this doctrine for a good AT answer to allied light vehicles.
Remove the battlephase requirement from puma, it just comes too late. Leave it in T2 so it has to go through a build time and can't be shat out as a panic call-in, but give it a 5CP requirement like it used to have so it doesn't come too early. It doesn't need to be sidetech, the "cost" is locking into a doctrine. |
Efficiency is super simple, it compares damage value to the cost of the unit.
Your stuart was probably doing all of its damage to cheap early game infantry and light vehicles. That pershing was shooting expensive 120 fuel tanks, which counts as a lot more "value."
TBH efficiency is not relevant at all, it's too inaccurate and doesn't represent the actual value of a unit. Just ignore it. |

The UKF grenade is actually incredibly powerful, it makes them effective at long range and very dangerous in close range as well. |

5 men and retreat might be even cheesier actually because it would still fee super frustrating not being able to pin the damn thing down when it's used poorly or unsupported
You can compare it to the 6 man soviet raketen.

Please don't take away the only things making the raketen interesting.
Leave the range at 50 and give retreat back. Adding a fifth model is enough to make it more survivable, and cloak requiring standing still fixes the cheese.
The raketen was always a powerful unit, just wiped too easily and stolen. Don't increase the range, don't remove retreat. The other changes are good enough to fix the unit while keeping it unique. |

I'd actually love to see stats on how often our own automatch maps are won by each faction, to see how swingy we are in comparison to other RTS maps.
