Happens more than you'd like to think. This also wasn't addressed in the patch notes as far as I know. It's been voiced before by me and other members.

Seems to only happen on m3's and it kills a member inside instead. Its a much better outcome when there is a sniper in it

I have never seen it do 0 damage and then kill any member on the inside of the ht...
I don't have any idea what you are talking about. I have, however, as recently as last game seen what the OP was talking about. It is potentially game ending if the ht can escape, repair, and continue to kill units because of a bug Relic will not address (or hasn't yet).
