It really looks great and I'll try it once my exams are over but I have a few questions.
1. Is it easy to get into?
Many WW2 games are pretty hard/unforgiving to newbies.
2. How strong is the hardcore/simulation aspect of this game?
I like Battlefield but don't like Red Orchestra (too hard to learn, too easy to die) for example.
3. It is free to play but is it also pay to win?
I don't mind paying 20 € or so for a few months of increased credit gain but I despise games where people can just pay a heap of money and then steamroll everyone in their overpowered tank. Money for easier leveling etc. is ok but money for OP weapons is bad.

Just noticed this game is now available on steam for free. Anyone played it recently and think its good?

We were lucky with waiting times as we always got a match immediately, but I have heard of people having to wait 10-15 minutes for a match because of how the War system works. Also, if you join a side (Axis or Allies) you can't switch sides until the entire War is over, so you may want a second account if you intend to try both sides.

Permanently Bannedit's okay, but the fact that the standart german weapon is the G43 and not the kar98k completely kills the game for me sadly.
both weapon sucks anyway. only the kar worth if you mod it to OHK. It is good with shrek against tanks.
