If enemy players ragequit to end match, even after 5+ minutes, you will win that match BUT you DO NOT GET ANY WARSPOIL POINTS. I think this is rather bad game mechanic and it actually give ragequiterst even bigger effect of ragequit because even throught you was better and won the match, you get zero reward. He get zero reward too, but whats the point of that for you ?
I think if you win in normal automatch by any way after 5 minute mark you should get your 2K of warspoil points or at least Relic should punish ragequiters (you can always surrender). And ragequits are even worse in teamgame when they break completely game balance.

I just played a ~15 minute 1v1 where my opponent either did a ragequit or he just dropped. I did not get any points (it said 0 points on the victory screen). However, I did get a new bulletin item in my inventory and the game did count as a win. I was at 4500/6000 supply points before the game, and I still am at 4500/6000 supply points now. Strange stuff.
Update: Afterwards I played a quick game vs the CPU. After the game finished I was rewarded 2k points and the counter went from 4500/6000 to 500/6000 on the victory screen. I however did not get a supply drop. When I returned to the menu, my counter was suddenly at 2500/6000.
Perhaps people (rage)quiting/dropping rather that surrendering may create a delay in the award system instead of outright not giving the reward points.

There was a problem before that was probably coused by ragequits. The brackets didn't upgrade for like 5-10 minutes after the match. This may be connected to this issue.
