Hello everybody,

I have one question regarding Ostheer howitzer. Are there some new game rules that are not allowing to build the howitzer at the base? Thank you!

Howitzers can't be built inside the base, that's correct.

Yes, they changed that in a recent patch to "increase the counter-play against Howitzers".

Problem is mostly that Lefh is in Ostheer doctrines that are only so-so (same with Soviet ML-20). ML-20 also gets 2-click countered easily by Stuka Bomb drop so a lot of Soviet players don't even bother trying.

Id rather not play company of artillery. Remember OP ML20, b4, laser isgs and pak howies. No, they perform fine.

I think they need less spread, and either a faster rate of fire, or fire more shells per barrage. While you're fixing the wehrmacht's artillery gun, you might as well fix the soviet's as well.

Howitzers cant be build in base becouse most off maps cant be used in base and these are only counter to howitzers now. Off maps cant be used in base becouse players didnt like them killing retreating troops. There is no solution around this sadly.

Ignoring a specific type of unit simply because you dislike them? Because that has really got us far in balancing the bloody game, huh? That's why we have so many obsolete and underused units and commanders, huh?

Difference between tanks and infantry and artillery is. Artillery surprise one shot wipes anywhere on the map. And when spammed kill anything and everything.

Infantry and tanks require positioning and combined arms. Artillery promotes turtling and one shot no skill bs.
