better way to watch replays?

the in-game way is not very friendly, no rewind or scrub bar.

It's simply technically impossible to do so due to the way the RTS game engine works.StarCraft 2 does not have those features too ; It merely allowed you to skip to some particular points.

You can rewind in sc2, you can stop the replay and actually play the game from there, you can also watch a replay as two or more people without counting down.

Starcraft 2 doesn't have "true" rewinding, but it's still a whole lot better than CoH2's system because at least you can skip through a replay to predetermined points. The problem is CoH2's replay system is almost identical to CoH1's, which at this point is 10 years old. Not to mention CoH2's engine is very similar to CoH1's as well. They're working off of very old technology and retrofitting these quality-of-life replay changes would likely take a ridiculous amount of effort. I would be very surprised, and very impressed, if CoH2 got any of those features in its lifetime.
