UKF emplacements get bonuses including extra abilities when there are infantries garrisoned inside them.
Same bonuses can become available when a forward assembly is built near them.
Imo the same garrison bonus should be provided by Forward Observation Post(F.O.P) (ambient building upgrade) and forward logistic glider.
Both of these structures might need to be defended by emplacements and the garrison bonus will be helpful.
F.O.P. could get a discount and upgrade to reinforce squad bringing it to original cost (300/60).
