Hey there.
I pre ordered brits yesterday and when i launch it it says in order to play it the game needs to be updated with new content. But since the release is in september its not possible which is quite logical. I tried to remove the update on steam so this note isnt showing up anymore, but theres another problem. In the main menu theres not my name in the right top corner. Its just empty menu and when i hit campaign or automatch it says that i need to purchase it first.
I know this may be rly dumb but if it actually makes sence to any1:) i would accept any help, thanks.

Did you purchase only the "British faction"? Or do you already own the other coh2 products?

I get that warning too. Just ignore it.

Oh wait I think you may have a bigger issue than me. I just get a "You need to download an update" pop-up window in-game, which does nothing. I don't have other issues.

You can untick the UKF in the dlc list in steam and that fixes it.

Thats probably because i share the game only in library with my bro. I dont own the original game so i guess i cant profit from the dlc. Any idea how to remove it? I cant play it at all now

nope it just removes the note about update but the menu remains empty without my name and im still not able to play it
