I don't get why every mortar dies when having 1 man left, but the best non HT mortar in the game can get away with it and even has a 6 man squad. You know how hard it is to kill this thing?

If I somehow manage to do so, the 120mm is gold in my eyes. I would even savrifice a gren squad with only 3 men left to get this thing.

I once stole a 120 mm from sov guy.Put it near OKW base for cover under a mg.
USF teammate of soviet was cursing him throughout as his rifles started feeling the heat.
But thats abt it,ur NEVER going to steal it more or less against a serious opponent.Huge range,6men,runs away at 1 men.Another soviet cheese iwiper.

What kills me about that thing is the retreat speed and movement speed. Didn't it weigh like 600 pounds (all in) with 35 pound rounds?

How can the retreating squad outrun a Gren squad? It should move much slower.

It's high reward but it has to be higher risk - and the unit should be left if 4 models die.

I can push a car that weight 500-600 KG easily.

Running with full barrow also isn't something impossible for average joe.

Kg is a unit of weight.

Both are used to describe the same thing, except one is internationally unified unit and other one is 'MURIKA FUCK YEAH! because fuck the world.

Pound to kg relation is 2 to 1.

I would just reduce damage from 100 to 80, required crew to 2, remove precision strike and add something new for all soviet artillery. Right now the 120 has the highest damage, longest range, best crew, very tight barrage, and decent accuracy out of all the mortars. T

Now this is a post, not people arguing about weight measurement units. I don't think relic changes precision strike, and to be honest it's very dumb to give it to Soviets because Axis units already have fewer models. If these changes are to be made, it's gonna need price reduction, like 340 or something.

They're units of mass actually. Weight is measured in Newtons.

Mostly this I was going to add that I agree with Lemon completely, but the price should be lowered to around 360 manpower. Despite such nerfs 400 manpower would be to expensive. But it would still be very powerful and would still allow you to skip t2 so its pretty powerful in that regard. 360 manpower seems like a fair price.

I can't remember the last time I had a vet 3 120mm, but I see vet 3 wehrmacht mortars in nearly every game

It's been nerfed enough. I have a hard time justifying nerfing this doctrinal unit (present on only one viable commander) when the wehrmacht have a mortar that literally has 3x the rate of fire, and OKW have the stuka, which deletes any garrisons and setup teams

I'm not really attached to precision strike, but if anyone has a better vet ability in mind that isn't on the level of loltripwires I'm all ears

No, you need at least two men if you want to get it and at least 4 men to keep the other squad alive with 1 man left.

Then that just doesn't makes sense, and it's a BUG which needs to be fixed. There is no logic in that
