Doesn't really matter which faction or player does well on that map, its a horrible map that should never be in.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

I am okay with those, even with US Wrecked train isn't an mission impossible like that stupid Stalingrad, every engagement is like fighting within range of 5 meters, Ost & OKW infantry is designed to be suck at this range.

What about ettlebruk? That map is a ShockFest. But I have not experience what you said regarding the veto system. I have never played the map I've vetoed. Is this a glitch?

I believe if the auto-matcher cannot find an appropriate match in an acceptable time frame it starts casting the net wider and wider with relation to skill level and ignoring vetoes

I find Stalingrad be a good map, why people complain?
There are maps which are total crap like that Lernox or whats that called, maze of thick forest where OKW places AA truck and locks down sector
