What is the worst unit in the game !? [DEC 14]

Please consider all factors:
  • When the unit arrives
  • Cost
  • In a bad commander or in expensive tier
  • The units it will generally fight

Yesterday me and Chukonoku were talking about the worst unit so I decided to make a poll about. I took the liberty of creating a shortlist by choosing 3 units for each faction but I think it contains all the worst unit contenders.

My thoughts on all the units if you're interested (2v2 perspective)


My vote is for the m21 MHT. Please post your considerations or if I forget to include a unit. My plan is to update it every time there has been a patch and we played for a couple of weeks.


I'd vote to püppchen, but it wasn't in the list.

Sniper? seriously? that guy is awesome and shouldnt be on the this list at all

voted for flak emplacement... immobile, costs fuel, dies to anything in a matter of seconds, hits the ground more often than not.


I agree it's not a great unit, but if you place it a bit on height it can actually works well.

M21 Mortar Half-Track.

It's just so useless. I think USF is better off throwing rocks in nice curve towards enemies than this "mortar".

Ost Sniper is amazing at least against the US.
Place him behinder your lines and watch the American going nuts because he bleeds MP like hell and there is not much he can do about it.
It is though God by command has withdrawn every other throne.

So you're saying AI Partisans are worse than Irregulars. :foreveralone:

You do realize AI Partisans are better dmg wise and can spawn out of buildings behind enemy squads? Although their reinforce rate is worse than Irregulars (26 vs 21) and they don't have that special 45 muni grenade, at least they have a stronger role in combat situations where as lmg irregulars can make lmg ostruppen look like Obers. :snfPeter:
Plus I think the Partisan commander has some uses, like free maphax, somewhat crucial intel, mark target, and AT partisans that can finish off pesky tank retreats on most maps.
Although I will admit that AI partisans win by a very small margin over Irregulars imo.

M3 assault group is pretty fun to use IMO, as is the Wolverine. My vote goes to Partisans or Irregulars.

Raketenwerfer is not a bad unit, its good when you get it in a house and you can be more ballsy with it to chase tanks as it can retreat.
Out in the open its pretty bad with its long setup time adn aim

also i would like to see a replay where the arty officer and his abilities gets used to good effect :)
