Just played a game on the new patch and all I have to say is lol.
This thing is now by far the best MG in the game. It is better than a Vet 3 Mg-42. It literally suppresses instantly and pins in a couple of seconds.

I think the regular mg42 also got a boost, but im not 100% sure. However, im pretty sure the mg42 sound is different.

I haven't seen the new Mg-42 so I can't make that comparison. I just know the MG-34 as it is now is the best MG the game has ever seen up until this point. It is so over the top I just kind of blinked when I saw how quickly my units were suppressed. Anything will insta-suppress even at the edge of its range now.

its been buffed to almost hte same level as MG42. Read the patch notes. Maxim dominates it still

It's extremely good now, especially for the price. Way better than a maxim.
But much, much more importantly: It now sounds even more crappy, FG42 levels of crappyness. It had a weak firing sound before, but now it also has a slower rate of fire. It's the same with the Obersoldaten LMG34 i think. Or i'm living slower.

Permanently BannedI think it should be accessible for all OKW, Kubel is just bad. It still lacks the same punch, durability and damage as Maxim but at least its at MG42 level now. Which mind you is still UP

I just know what I saw which was something WAY better than the MG42 or Maxim. It makes either one look like a joke. I know you are still holding on straws with your Maxim complaints but the Maxim never instantly pinned at any point.

I would say its the same level. I think you are still experiencing the dramatic change in performance. Lol. Mind oyu MG42 should be doing more damange and supression to control blobs. Atm its geting killed front on.

Maxim does more dmg while mg34 does more suppression. It's good, but not OP. Does what it's supposed to. It stops blobs. MG42 is a mix of a maxim and a mg34, equal amounts of suppression and dmg.

I can definitely say that it has crazy fast suppression now. Much better than the MG42 had last time I encountered it. Patch notes be damned.

I'm not saying it's necessarily awful, just that the patch notes seem to imply that it's now going to be roughly in line with the MG42, but suppression wise it's clearly exceeding it. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a bug, I don't think they would have said "we're bringing it up to almost MG42 standards" if actually it was suppressing with half a burst.

i feel the buff is needed to counter the blobing usa . they counter mg with smoke granade so i dont see any ting that is worng here

I can confirm MG42 received zero changes. The MG34 is now effectively a cheaper, better vet, instant callin version of the MG42.

Looks like I have to change my mindset about MG34 because in the last game I played it as it was the same old crap and was retreating it unnecessary on few occasions I guess.
