I've been playing CoH since it first came out and I love it. I'm not big on multiplayer matches, but I do like running through the British and American campaigns. Mostly I like to skirmish against the AI as either American or British.
I've seen CoH2 hyped, and I figured I'd give it a shot, so I logged into my Steam account and bought it. IMNSHO I wasted my money.
The interface is all wrong, the graphics suck, and the American dialog makes me want to puke.
The tech layout is the worst. In case no one has noticed, the Germans and Soviet troops were severely micromanaged by their respective officer corps, and now some fool has done the same thing to the American troops in CoH2. Why should I have to bring up a no-load O-Ganger just so I can get more weapons, or gain some ability that American troops get in there duffle bags in freakin' boot camp? What a load of crap.
And let's not even talk about game play. What a mess. The maps are terrible, and the graphics suck.
I'm goin' back to the REAl CoH...

What is a "no-load O-Ganger?"
An officer who just sits in the rear with the gear... Most Academy grads until a non-com sets 'em straight.
O-Ganger is US Navy enlisted jargon for officers in general. "Gang" refers to rating specialities, like A-Gang for Auxiliary Men, Deck Gang for Bosun's, and so on...
