T-34 mounting the 122mm U-11 howitzer. Design from late 41. Commonly used in the M1938 122mm field howitzer, aka M-30.
Design rejected because the turrent was deemed to small and too hard for the 2 guys in the turret to man. There also is one with 1 76mm and 2 45mm guns. Also rejected due to being too much to handle

Coloured photos:

OPERATION COLIN, BATTLE OF MAAS.
Infantry of the 153rd Brigade, 51st Highland Division are carried into battle aboard a Sherman tank (T-233073) near Udenhout in the Netherlands.
29th of October 1944.

Demolition men of the US 3rd Marine Raider Battalion, gathered in front of a Japanese dugout they helped to take at Cape Torokina on Bougainville in the Solomon Islands in January 1944.

A rare light hearted view of war.
A German Flak crew photo of their regimental mascot sitting by a 88mm, FlaK 36. Flugzeugabwehrkanone (aircraft-defense cannon)

A Panzerkampfwagen IV F-1 of Panzer Regiment 24, Pz Div. 24 on the Russian Steppes in the Summer of 1942.

(Note that the 24th Panzer Division was allowed to use the golden yellow collar tab trim in recognition of their roots as an Imperial German Cavalry Unit. The 24th Panzer Division was the only Armored Division so honoured. Other Panzer Divisions use the famous "Panzer Pink" Waffenfarbe.
Also resting on the opened turret door, there is, what appears to be, a German Heeres Model 1928 Signal (Flare) Pistol. The pre-World War II pistols were produced by Walther.

Rare exhibits in Kubinki tank museum. It is museum and tank shooting range near the Moscow, it's collection is one of the largest in the world.

German wing.

"Kugelpanzer" - captured in Manchuria at 1945, assignment - unknown, in theory it was used for artillery fire coordination. Single exhibit in the world.

German mine trawl - NK-101. Single exhibit in the world.

"Karl-Gerät" - German self-propelled siege mortar. Single exhibit in the world.

Sturmtiger - was captured at 1945 in Elbe. Nothing special, cause there is another one in Deutsches Panzermuseum.

The truly gem in the collection, the one and only "Maus" tank in the world. Were rebuild from remains of 2 tanks (hull from one and turret from another) captured at 1945.
