But let us start slowly. Does any one of you remember the brackets?

In the first round, we did not see good games. Donald J. Trump & Pepe (going to call them Trump team from now on) and HelpingVonLuvMan continued to the semi-finals immediately. Their opponents did not show up. We did cast SoE vs Stuglife, which were some fun games to watch, but not the epic 3v3 games we were looking for. Ninja Squad was up against MAUS, and they had no problems with proceeding to the next round as well. Then, it got interesting!


We had 4 epic teams in the semi-finals, and we definitely were going to see some cool games. Stormless casted game 1 of HelpingVonLuvMan vs Ninja Squad. Surprisingly, for a lot of people, Ninja Squad won the first game! After a good match of 35 minutes they defeated HelpingHans, VonIvan and SturmtigerGaddafi (who had replaced Luvnest).

In the 2nd game, again on the map Redball Express, HelpingVonLuvMan was playing Axis. They managed to win in the end, although Ninja Squad did drain enough VPs to get faction pick. The map of the 3rd game was Port of Hamburg. And Ninja Squad totally steam rolled their opponents, defeating HelpingVonLuvMan in 20 minutes, with almost 500 VPs left.

Conclusion: Ninja Squad continued to the Finals!

There were more Semi-Finals though, as you might expect. SoE and Trump team also fought against each other. Just to explain for the people out there who do not know who the Trump team are: G.dot, VonAsten and SturmTigerGiap. Unlike the first semi-finals series, in which the Axis team won all the games, in this semi-finals series, it was the Allies who won all the games! In the end, SoE proved to be the best of both teams. They continued to the Finals!


These 2 teams showed us how you should play 3V3s. In game 1, Ninja Squad played as the Axis. NS saw their VPs drop to 9! And that, was the turning point of the game. With some amazing flanks and coordinated attacks, they grabbed 2 VPs. And, they did not let them slip. Eventually they won the game!

In game 2, SoE needed to show all their skills, because they had made mistakes in the first game. And, they did show their skills. In the end they managed to kill almost the whole enemy army, after 50 minutes of amazing gameplay.


And as expected, this 3rd game was amazing as well. 2 incredible good teams fighting against each other. The winner would take the honour of being COH2.ORG’s first 3v3 champions! After a pretty equal battle, SoE again managed to kill almost the whole army of NS with some pretty epic Katyusha and Calliope barrages. And I should not forget those amazing Comets as well! After 40 minutes, we finally knew who our champions were.

So, our champions get the prize pool (60 euro) and will be famous forever. But, I do want to point out another thing. The win ratio of Axis and Allies were both around the 50%s. As the organizer of this tournament, I can proudly say: This tournament was been pretty balanced.
