A message from the Director of Maps & Mods

After over a year since the release of the WorldBuilder tool for Company of Heroes 2, the community has been throwing everything they have at us, to truly create the gaming experience that we all want. Whether it's comp stomps, competitive play, or pure creation, WorldBuilder has provided the platform for hundreds upon hundreds of unique works.

I was no different.

With nearly 70 maps under my belt throughout the lifespan of Company of Heroes, I joined the community looking to test myself on new assets, new ideas, and new battlefields. It's taken 12 months, but my Workshop page is nearly filled, with 25 unique maps, thousands of subscribers, and a lot of support from clans, communities and individuals alike. In order to celebrate, COH2.org hosted a poll to choose what you, the community wanted from my collection, and at last, it has been released: (6 - 8) Kursk Winter.

To see more, please check out the images below, and my own personal message that I have uploaded onto Youtube for your viewing pleasure!

It's been emotional.

Kursk's Minimap when hosting 8 players

Treacherous, muddy roads offer mobility in an otherwise snowy region

Scattered defenses and camps litter the many fields

Vital areas of the map are often surrounded by deep snow, forcing sluggish responses and defensive tactics
