I'm looking forward to buying the 1 or 2 commanders I really want, and waiting for the ones I'm less enthusiastic about. From my perspective, they have done an excellent job communicating their plans and satisfactorily solving the problems with both systems.

First off all. Tripwire so gud, 10 ammo for a whole dead squad ? + sight.
Vehicle capture point can win games, blitzkrieg save a tank. Fair Deal i think

They nerfed Rifle Company before released in shop, not after

I think they need to implement some pseudo RNG to warspoils. After a certain amount a spoils you 100% get a rare item. After a certain amount of rare item you 100% get a rare commander. Or make a system where you can earn commanders not trough some nochance crazy lottery.
I played about 150 hours got 3 rare item, not a single commander.

First my alpha key request was ignored so I had to buy one and now I'm not able to unlock one of the new commanders. Pure luck is the best way to descripe the current situation. I will handle it like Ohme: buy commanders I really want and wait for the others. Problem: The most thing I hate is an uncomplete game. So I must buy the other commanders sooner or later when I've much luck as I already have. But I was realy glad when I saw three drops after a very nice game. Maybe sometimes the originally conceived system works.

Thanks for posting an article about war spoils. It's certainly a feature that almost every member of the community has a fairly strong opinion on.
It will be interesting to see how it evolves, to make obtaining new commanders more realistic and likely, especially for the new Soviet and Ostheer commanders, as people have already reported receiving duplicate old DLC for those armies.

i dont know what all this war spoil thingy is about. bulletins make no difference(except the molotov catapult one) and it takes long enough to get used to one single commander. also the standard commanders you have at start provide enough variety for almost every situation. it seems to me everyone is only playing for grinding, just to be able to say: hey look i have this and this and this,
whereas the best commander is a good build order and game awareness.

This is again a nice answer from Relic and proof they listen to the community. This is great news. I also like the idea to earn the items when getting XP. Maybe that is the best solution in the first place. Apart from making them available in the store.
The tourneys should be played always as honest as it could be. Maybe its an idea to have a rule that before the match both players have to agree for using premium commanders. If one doesnt agree premium commanders are not allowed.

Buying an alpha key? I think that's illegal.
I got Lightning War Doctrine in the last month... made me happy. Then I got some M8 scout car bulletins, but I don't have the commander. LOL.

What do you do when an entire community freaks out about having to pay for new commanders? You implement a brand new system that grants you free commanders without having to pay. Then you make the system suck so hard that people start getting frustrated. Voila, you now have your free pass to sell commanders again. Because you listened to the community, people will thank you. Win/Win.
The war spoils system could be fantastic. IMHO, it should have been implemented later, but finished and complete, bringing motivation to the players...
