Company of Heroes 1v1 Beta Tournament

The COH community was excited to learn this week that Company of Heroes, the game that started it all, is getting returned to its former glory. Relic and Smoking Gun Interactive, which consists of members of the original Company of Heroes team, are currently running a beta to test out their changes and quash any remaining bugs that accompanied the transition to Steam servers. And, of course, what better way to help out the good fellows at Smoking Gun than to have a tournament! Community member and fight promoter, Oktarnash, is proud to invite you to The Company of Heroes 1v1 Beta Tournament!

The opening rounds begin Saturday, December 7th at 4 pm UTC+0. Semi-finals and finals are set to take place on Sunday, December 8th. In the event of a short conclusion to the opening rounds, the semi-finals and finals will also take place on Saturday, the 7th.

Round Format: Single elimination; best out of 3 games; players alternate between Axis and Allies
Server setup: 1v1, 500VP, Fixed Starting Positions (leave "Reversed Positions" unticked), Standard Resources.

1-1 tie: If there is a tie after two games are played, the VP leader gets to choose his/her faction for the 3rd (and last) game. Remember to write down the VP standing after each game!

Factions and units: Americans and Wehrmacht only; Tales of Valor units are allowed.
