USF late game fucking sucks balls. USF early game is extremely strong. M1919s are a joke.

Right now the only time USF has a late game is with Easy Eights. It's even worse in team games where they regularly have to deal with super heavies and most of their shit either misses, gets 2-shotted or doesn't pen. |
Using it, I think the Kubel is probably one of the more balanced units in the game. Its early game effect is so strong, that I don't feel like it really needs to scale all that well. If you micro it well enough it can also last well into the mid game and be effective.
At most I'd give it a vet ability(Seeing as getting it to vet is difficult enough) to use AP rounds. Being able to do light damage to vehicles would allow it to scale incredibly well.
And after microing the Med Truck, the Kubel is ez. |

They are not weaker, maybe in terms of range and dmg . Mr. Someguy pretty much sums it up why they are so good . Fausts have an animation , which needs to be completed afaik.
AT Grenades have a very obvious animation. Once the animation starts of either Fausts or AT Nades, they're going to land, extreme luck aside.

I have 3 problems with the Airborne commander;
1. The heavy weapons drops are overpriced. I feel like Relic priced these with having a crew dropping with them in mind. Tactical drops are absolutely out of the question in any fights and if it's available to you you're better off just buying from base.
2. The P-47 is overpriced as hell. I never see it do anything and it's an ability I always regret using, especially in 1v1.
3. Paratroopers don't really have a role. If I wanted CQC shock troops, I'd use BAR'd Riflemen. If I wanted long range DPS, I'd use the Infantry Company and get M1919s. Paratroopers succeed at being megariflemen, but that isn't something the USF needs. If we got Rangers back and jacked up the price I'd be more than happy, but right now there's not much I feel I can actually do with Paras that I can't do with Rifles. Hell, they don't even have Smoke Grenades.
If 1 + 2 got fixed, I'd say Airborne is fine, but Paras I do feel lack a real role. |
Might be slightly off-topic but aren´t bar and m1919 a bit too similar in their role, with the latter just being better? For the sake of discussion, what if m1919 was replaced with thompson smg upgrade, for some diversity?
That wouldn't be adding diversity, that would just be giving American infantry something they don't need. If they want CQC, just buy some BARs. |

Pack Howwie fucking sucks for price. Nobody will pay 480 manpower for a tier 1 unit as ineffective as that.
Also, no med truck? GG. USF needs to be able to heal its infantry from the get go, like every other faction. |
I laugh how "2v2 player" is used as an insult. "Yeah, you play the highest skill cap game mode, don't tell me how to play musical chairs you loser!"
Anyhow, I play a lot of US and I don't think it's a bad idea. The primary issue is fighting the OKW HT, if we can deal with that early on, then the USF HT can be delayed further. 57mm isn't a bad AT Gun, and it rather fits the theme of that tier.
