Company of Heroes 1 is still the Greatest Strategy Game.
No absolutely never DLC Content in Multiplayer
I'm very for DLC's in a game after launch. Because game devs cant only live on the sales of the game for a longer period of time. Yes there are some shitty company's that just shits them out for a quick buck or just bad dlc content(EA,Ubisfot). But with a game like this, funding is important over longer time, and having DLC's means another month or so of paychecks for the devs. Meaning they can still work on it long after launch. Now how coh2 handled dlc's was shit. So i'd like to see a better handling of that. And if they sell a lot of the dlc content it means they can make more, therefor add more to the game, might be free or not. But still, it adds to it rather than just releasing, patch it for a few months and then letting it die because they cant fund devs anymore.
I think they should remove the stun capability of the shock round. Having it only do vision block for a short amount of time. Having stuns, per.shot as the ability is activated is just crazy. No Axis light vehicle can fight against it. Only the puma with the rage, but if the stuart gets one stun round in, it is dead.
Battle for Middle Earth 2 was a console port, and a great one. I never played HW1 but it looks most similar to BFME, so there is definitely promise.
Well, BFME was deign for pc, from the beginning. That is why everything in halo wars 2 since it is designed for controller use, it looks to simplistic. But you cant really compare how the bfme console port from pc was, since these are two different developers, and different platform structure design.
Maybe finally relic should make some team of coh2 fans that could create balance patches (aproved by relic and normally downloaded ), mainly fixing bugs and unintended behavior.
This group should consider mostly from coders like bud, cruzzi, miraglefla etc etc etc, strategists like me, ciez, sturmpanzer, cookiez and more, and at last from top tier players like luv, helping hans, DevM,Vasten,VIvan etc etc that can look at balance from different angle.
Sorry for all I didnt mention, there would be so many candidates ...
This team then would look at all game problems found and posted on .org and then after productive disscusions fix them
Yeah, just look at some work miragefla has done on his mod. I would love to see that in the game. Like the manual reload and removing the object collision on capture points etc. Feel like the community would do a lot better.
This is super annoying, and i find it odd how this isn't fixed yet. There are problems with spawns on some of the maps in 1v1, that also are 2v2 maps. The thing that will happen in 1v1's on these maps, are that you will spawn on a random location. Say crossing in the woods is an example os this, you can either spawn near the middle road, that keeps you close to the front lines, and give you a shorter retreat. Or you can spawn in the corner of the map, where you have fare fare longer retreat than your opponent might have... so spawn in 1v1 should be fixed

1. Explosions were great. Much more great, than in CoH 2.
Game is already bad optimised and lag even on PCs, where GTA 5 works fine, so improving graphics will only cause burn of people videocards. And nobody gonna improve optimisation
i agree it is shit optimized, but we aren't talking about improving the graphical quality or optimization. But increasing the size of the blast of explosions. Increasing the size of the explosion is fairly easy, seeing how in they did actually have bigger blasts for the 120mm morter before and few other projectiles. In the attribute editor there are options to change the radius and splat to the projectile. They could have it visually bigger, but doing the same damage as all projectiles do now.
