A question about the ambush camouflage abilities

I was wondering what part(s) of the ability actually increases the initial damage of the unit using the ambush camouflage for things like the jagdpanzer IV and the wehrmacht commander upgrade?

Hi there:
The ability do not give you any bonus. You must look on the ebps file of the Jagdpanzer IV.
Look for the camouflage_ext. In there you will have two actions:
a. Camouflage_action: (you have in there the camouflage net actiavtion (here apply the commmander ability)
b. First strike action: here apply the camo bonus.
I hope it could help you.

So I think what Olhausen is trying to tell you is that the actual ability does not give you any bonus apart the camo. the bonus is applied when the unit starts firing out of active camoflage and I think only then. means that if it is detected by the enemy first the bonus does not apply but Im not 100% sure about that
