Will cons get a lmg upgrade in the next patch?

No they will not. I don't think giving MLG for cons is a good idea. Cons are strong in late game only if you blob with them. Lmg will not solve this problem. I think, it will be better if with two stars they will turn in Strelki (стрелки) squad with svt and more health. And why soviets is the main faction? What about usf, OKW and Wehrmacht?

Cons don't need lmgs. Cons are good up close. If they had an lmg, they would have to be stopped at long range to be effective. This combination would not work in the benefit of the Soviets.

The balance is pretty good i find, only in late late game if the game during a lot, LMG on grens become cheat.
But don't forget that in early game Ostheer need 60 muni for make a medic and 55 muni for a 222 for counter a M3 for exemple
Thank you. Allied early game blobbing is an over looked issue. Everyone is concerned with late game OKW blob, but early game allies devour everything.

Cons are fine imo (coming from allied player) their best use is in their utility and are still strong early game if used right. Late game they are massively out scaled which is where shocks come in.
I think the problem is that OKW late game is too strong. Doctrinal features shouldn't be the only reliable counter to them.

For the record, there are better ways of balancing than giving everyone a LMG. I'd like to see less of them, not more.

They arent fresh raw conscripts at that point...they are hardened bastards of the Red Army.
Same should be done with alot of units...once they hit a certain vet level they transform into a different unit all together...
Like a Vet 2 Major turns into Lieutenant Colonel,and vet 3 is a Colonel

Overall I think Cons are in a good place though. They're great against Volks (till vet 4/5) and Grens until vet 3 + LMG. They're kinda trash vs Obers but Obers are just stupidly strong and need to be brought into line with other squads.

This game doesnt need more LMG's breaking balance. Obers and double M1919's are too much, and we dont need more.

If obers are like rifle or cons, OKW is completly dead.
In reality, if obers don't exist for okw, they become weak late game too.
If rifle can make a good job vs obers, okw can just surrender button at the beginning

So ppl are freak out about cons getting a dp28? The worst Lmg ever exists in coh , as long as LMG unlocked by soviet T3 Or T4, there will be no con blob
First off all. Tripwire so gud, 10 ammo for a whole dead squad ? + sight.
Vehicle capture point can win games, blitzkrieg save a tank. Fair Deal i think
