the panther is insanely OP in its ability to pretty much fly across the battlefield one-shot everything then stand in front of 3-4 ATguns and laugh as the shells bounce off and carefully take out all of the guns
The quoted sentence proves that you cannot be honest with your statement that you dominated the enemies in the first half hour.
A Panther alone won't usually be able to take out a single AT gun face to face because - as everyone should know - Panthers absolutely lack AI. Their only source of anti inf capabilities is the MG on the top which also shoots fire crackers.
Just to make it clear: Making the enemy bleed a lot of VP is not automatically dominating the game.
Sure, if you had managed to take the last 60 Points you would have won. But it seems as if the Axis made a tactical sacrifice of VP while holding other important points such as fuel. Losing VPs doesn't hurt the Axis much in the first 20-30 minutes. Having no fuel does. And if the Germans where able to put out multiple panthers and a King Tiger at once then you missed the chance to push them back to their HQ.
It's no Panther OP because the Panther is IMO one of the most balanced units in the game.
