Flashback: It is 2009, two best friends set out to make the best shoutcasts ever.
Flashfoward: It is now 2012, it is the future!. One of the best friends is dead, killed by a runaway ride-on-lawnmower; the shoutcasts will never be made.
On a completely unrelated note, Thirsty Thursday is back, with mediocre commentary and vague references to the 2003 Game of the Year: Company of Heroes!
Gasp as 50Cal briefly talks about the game, laugh as Stevemongler jokes about being lonely, and then cry when he reveals in a shocking twist that his loneliness is no joke.
We're back for another Thirsty Thursday, and this time it's personal.

Holy fuck I think it would be hard to overdescribe how amazing you guys are. Between the stupendous production qualities, the "we do not give a shit about the game" attitude, the feigned lack of expertise, the genuine lack of expertise, Hard Ticket to Hawaii, Steve's familiarity with and love of awkwardly adverting to bullshit aacademic philosophy that I adore, the alcohol, and the absurdist humor creeping in at every available opportunity (both in the editing and the commentary), I'm fairly certain this is the best Company of Heroes related stuff in the entire history of the world. I'm sad I missed Thirsty Thursdays Season 1 when it first came out but I marathoned them all when Season 2 was announced and now I wait with bated breath for the next episode where Steve tries to work in even more words from his vernacular.
