Conscripts should receive DP-27 without any specialization. A machine gun is the basis of any infantry platoon. And all the base infantry has access to a machine gun. Grenadiers - MG-42, IS - Bren, Riflemans - BAR, Volksgrenadiers - machine gun substitute STG-44. And only Conscripts without a basic weapon upgrade, because a unique 7-person, we see such a role.

Yes,at least Soviet without commander can't see PPsh and DP I think it's strange

BAR in game is not LMG. It has good DPS mid and can be fired on the move.

And no Conscripts should not have access to LMG because then you would LMG blobs fighting LMG blobs and no reason for engaging in a better range.

Then open your eyes - this is already in the game, the rest of the factions have a machine gun for the starting infantry and only conscripts suck because we do not want to "insert any ridiculous excuse." They don’t even have a non-doctrinal PPSh-41 to at least somehow justify this distance.

There is nothing wrong with my eyes, when it comes to mainline infatry:
Grenadier have access stock Lmg but they have their limitation
IS have access to stock LMg but they have their limitation

the other faction do not have stock access to lmg in their mainline infatry and they should not have.

And the Soviet faction hardly needs any buffs.

And also they should not have PPSh-41 as a weapon without a doctrine for countering infantry with a machine gun, all that they are supposed to do is only useless molotov.

And the BAR as if it were not listed in the game files is still a machine gun. If it were a light weapon like an Assault Rifle, then it should not be dropped.

Yet conscripts where used allot in the latest torment and where Soviets one of the most successful faction.

Neither Conscirpt nor Soviets need another buff.

Lmg use a specific profile with a negative curve making it inferior at close range and can not be fired on the move by mainline infatry.

BAR is not a LMG in this game. The fact that it can be dropped is rather irrelevant.

Yeah, great solution. Ignore the obvious thing that the Soviet infantry is poorly designed. We do not have PPSh-41 to fight against the LMG infantry because "I decided so." We have an eternal pull between Conscripts and Penals. We have the eclipse of the Guard because the Penals have are PTRS. What the Soviets really need is a big and radical restructuring of the infantry, because it does not work correctly.

if the BAR not a machine gun, should it not drop? Or should the SMG and AR drop, because if the BAR is just an automatic rifle, its name is deciphered. Rifles must not drop.

I have pointed out the problems of the Soviet infatry numerous times. What conscripts do not need is an LMG.

The reason they do not need an LMG is simple. If all mainline infatry get an LMGs none would move them and all the fight would at max range in cover.

Infantries where design to have an optimum range of fighting and thus create a dynamic where each player wants to fight in his optimum range. This is called "relative positioning" and making all mainline infantries able to equip with LMG nullifies the whole concept.

Weapon type is decided by it "DPS profile" and BAR does not use an LMG profile. Being dropable or not is completely irrelevant.

I also think the idea of making MP40 and STG-Infrator to one ability is good. BUT not the extra squad-member. ^^

Next patches will bring a Cons-nerf and a rifle-men nerf, I am sure. That would fix the Volk again.
