I always try to keep my units on the field and push the enemy etc. but I just never find a use for the riflemen. I'll be playing USF 20 minutes in and realize I have 2-3 riflemen squads back inside my base that I retreated and never reinforced and sent back to the frontline. They're just worthless in fours against Obers, LMG grens, g4usies, etc. I just forget about them. I do NOT have this issue nearly as much with any other faction. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Opponent infantry always outranges me22 Oct 2022, 19:09 PM I think that gremlins disassembled your computer while you were asleep and replaced your HDD with an exact copy, with the only difference being that they downloaded a version of CoH2 where everything is just slightly off. Things like enemy infantry outranges you by two meters; the ZIS gun has 20 less penetration than normal; the ladder is controlled at will by gremlin HQ, freezing or moving you up or down on a whim; and last but not least, exactly one conscript model left the production line without picking up ammunition so he will never fire his gun and you never noticed. My suggestion to fix this is to uninstall and reinstall the game. In: COH2 Gameplay

Too inaccurate and too weak to be worth any amount of munitions. Maybe if it was free (obviously with some kind of 30 second cooldown or something). Timed ability costing munitions makes more sense to me. In: COH2 Gameplay

But obviously he's not saying it's "for fun" to damage a tank but not kill it. Putting a tank and a pioneer squad out of action and forcing the enemy to pay manpower on top of it is no small price to pay. I would imagine this is only really worth doing to Wehr though, because their veterancy was based on purchases made at the base, not how much damage/kills the tank was getting. Doing this to US or Panzer Lehr (or whatever tf it was called) is basically shooting yourself in the foot, I'm pretty sure. In: COH3 Central

Thread: CoH3 Custom Match Request!!19 Oct 2022, 08:31 AM For custom lobbies in CoH3, there needs to be a much more blatant notification to the player if their victory strike/decal/modded skin is causing the host to be unable to start. Maybe something with flashing red, and a voiceline like "we have failed the fatherland" or something. That would be nice. The amount of non-English speakers that I have been forced to kick out of my lobby because their profile didn't mention their country of origin (so I can't use google translate to tell them to unf@#$ their skins) surely numbers in the tens of dozens at this point.
