Nope, just pretty small target size.
Thats kinda weird considering its a slow-moving relatively large td |
Quite frankly has anyone stopped to ask themselves if UTT itself was a quality product to watch?
I was bored watching the games, despite who was casting. I stopped watching in the middle and played another game. ...right around the time people caught wind of this drama brewing. That certainly made me move on faster.
But hey, fight amongst yourselves over rights to viewers.
I don't understand how being bored watching a cast translate to this being a non issue. If you feel like it was boring you could provide some insight into what would make it more entertaining with the casters/directors. |
I'm pretty sure this spiraled a little out of control after HH attempted to defend himself when clearly in the wrong. I pretty certain an immediate apology would have made Stormless, AE and other casters much happier then what he did as everyone here is invested in making the competitive scene healthy, in which this is an issue that needs to be discussed before it gets out of hand. It was also the decent thing to do as using other people's work is inexcusable.
At the same time saying his insight was better than the casters during the UTT stream is rude and honestly incorrect. As siddolio stated hes a top 2v2 player with just as much insight into the 2v2 meta as hans and to say you know better is discrediting siddolio as a top 2v2 player.
I also think a couple of ground rules should be stated as it seems not everyone has the same "unwritten rules" about how this stuff occurs.
Rebroadcasting over a stream is not under any circumstance okay, unless given specific permission of the owners/directors and the owners of the stream are credited.
Streaming Coh2, in general, is okay as the directors do not have a right to ask you to not, as long as it's your own gameplay then its okay to stream during events. The directors can ask you politely if you would rather switch games, but it is up to your own discretion if you actually will and the directors have to accept that.
Casters who are not part of the "official" cast should not cast any streams of the events unless under specific circumstances. For example, when tightrope casted GCS 1 it didn't have the intent for profit, it was because of the bad audio and his attempt to create a more enjoyable experience, this, of course, is up to fellow casters who should set ground rules.
The solution to this is simple and honestly should not have created any drama but this became a PR nightmare after everyone started pointing fingers at each other. HH should come out with a sincere formal apology to Curahee and other casters/directors of the UTT. Everything else should be settled privately. |
There's one thing I don't get that I'd like explained to me:
Why is one 600 viewer stream better than two 300 viewer streams assuming all the donation links are the same?
I believe 600 view stream will make more money per ad than 2 300, as the money you make isn't exactly linear increase.
I don't really stream though so I am probably wrong. |
IMO people are creating a gray area where there should definitely not be one.
Tournament creators go through a lot of time and effort in producing quality and fun tournaments for a community, they should reap the benefits of their hard work without the viewership being split. No other serious E-Sport Community allows streaming of events (with small possible exceptions) and COH2 should not either.
Edit: Additionally straight up dubbing over other streamers is a copyright infringement that is definitely against twitch TOS.
To make a profit off of other people's hard earned work is wrong and should be addressed now. In my opinion, it's a given rule that you do not stream a live tournament without permission of the tournament directors. |
April 1st was yesterday.
Posting that kind of thread in any other day will only make a laughing stock out of you.
@blvckdream you forgot about 4 digit ranks with almost pristine axis only pc.
Name: Panzerkampf
Logo: German
Thread: Allies OP, buff Axis
Verdict: Must be fair and balanced view on the game. Definitly not biased.
Ullmumu smurf? |
Nah, that's not true. I get the point that all the different hotkeys suck, but there are no people saying "This game has flexible hotkeys! I am so gonna buy it!". Hotkeys are in no way a buying reason for people to buy a game.
On the other hand you are right, some people obviously left the game because the lack of this feature.
Id buy the game if it had Mappable Hotkeys |
the panther's gun have an accuracy of .03-.06, which is actually already higher than the "average" of .025-.05 for most tank gun.
Tank destroyer have .04-.06 but that's a different story.
having a high moving accuracy modifier is not a requirement for being a brawler tank.
The US sherman are the only units to have the .75 modifier, everyone else have .50 modifier.
The british comet and cromwell used to have .75 modifier but eventually nerfed down to .50. (FF does have .55 but this is splitting hair.)
The obsession at destroying enemy tank is also part of the problem. The high accuracy on tank destroyer make it harder to disengage. AtG have .04-.06 because they are mobile.

Huh I was wrong, maybe a ROF buff then? Feels like the panther generally gets out DPSed since its reload takes forever
Also if people decide to take the generalist approach I'd say buffs to its MGs would be okay.

Company of Heroes is in such a bad position and desolation that there are no traditional
1 April jokes about the new commanders, which caused a lot of talk and emotions.
Oh look its the Japanese faction |
Id say the panther should be altered more into a brawler/diver but since it has such low moving accuracy it cant do that role.
Have moving accuracy increases to e8 levels would be nice along with a better ROF as it suffers from being out DPSed due to how low its ROF is, in turn its range would be decreased to 45 |
