I agree specialized tanks should not be tied to tech. Things like the m10, kv8, hetzer, and OKW ostwind find very little use when compared to more powerful units on the roster that doesn't require a doctrine. IMO the biggest issue with call in meta was medium generalists not specialized vehicles. (minus the m10 meta but that was due to how cheap and how bad the jackson use to be). |

Did it help you improve your soviet gameplay by floating 1200 munitions?
Yes now I always float 1200 muni |
I’d say make partisans cost 240 give them a RA vet 1 buff, slightly increase damage, commando stealth, and maybe a 5th man similar to REs at vet 3 would be good. The issue right now with partisans are that even though they are cheap they still eat up population and ultimately become useless manpower sinks for the rest of the game |

That's how I feel in a lot of games nowadays. The extra damage output from the 2nd StuG is really helpful. Plus the attack speed of a vetted StuG is just I N S A N E (-40% reload at vet-3) and can kill something like a Sherman in 5 seconds.
Watching stugs in UTT was pretty nuts. They were shredding allied TDs in seconds before a lot of the players could react. Really made me rethink my ost gameplay |
How is that "reset", your grens and volks are still there with their own vet acquiered during the game.
Because axis elites start at vet 0 and still lose to upgraded allied inf because of it.
Issues with Obers atm is they arrive so ridiculously late when compared to other elite infantry. Take even doctrinal infantry which arrive earlier at around 3 cp.
Yes vet2+ Obers are super strong and are powerful but do take a bit of time to actually vet up before they hit that powerspike , additionally things like the centaur or Sherman shred Obers which come out decent quick after the Obers. |

Quick question, wouldn't a double stug plus command p4 be better instead of getting a panther? |
Strumtiger is an even bigger resource waste than the KT |
I just have a question for people against USF/UKF double weapons slot. Do they want Riflemen and Tommies being weaker than Gren or Volks? Because that's what actually Riflemen and Tommies with one weapon are.
I mean logically their would have to be adjustments to the Bren and Bar if they could only equip one. If they are left as is atm then they would be underpowered upgrades |
You're straw manning here, no one is talking about making partisan infantry OP, I am almost 100% certain you haven't touched the, any time recently to say those smg infantry are anything near OP. Why you feel so firmly about it still, I don't really understand but maybe in the past they were very OP.
As far as the commander goes, i think the commander overall isn't too bad in group games with tank hunter infiltration and mark target together, niche but not bad, but that particularly unit is pretty much completely useless and a weird design quirk at this point
Partisans hurt you in the long run as they consume pop which manpower bleeds you out of the ass for a unit the doesn't scale and gets outtraded by all vetted axis infantry |
I find too many players have the Rambo / MOBA syndrome.
Wanting for Axis Rambo Units that can do everything, never fail, have no weaknesses and
cannot be stopped and 1 shot everything.
- Remove AT Planes.
- Remove TD Tanks.
"I love scissors, I love how they rape paper. But removing rocks altogether would make scissors
a lot more balanced. Sigh. Scissors without a counter." (PS: 2 Maxims is spamming, 12x MG42 is not).
Its likely withdraw syndrome or whatever its called. People are used to the Tiger and KT being 1 man wrecking crews which literally just required a clicks. Now if you play dumb with those units it actually punishes you. |
