M20 Utility Car

The M20 has repeatedly been reported as a problem unit by top players, particularly in 1v1. The Bazooka has been removed, as it was seen to make the m20 too difficult to counter, given it already has mines, high speed, smoke, and potential Lieutenant bazooka support in its favour.

Build time increased by 10 seconds (M20 will now arrive 20 seconds slower when taking the above tech changes into account)
Crew no longer has a bazooka.


So +20 second on the build time and cannot defend itself vs anything superior to kubel. Now anyone can rush a 222 or Luch into it without much concern. Not even giving skirt native, nope. Plain hammer nerf.

Relic "balance" team's usual solution, dual nerf then everyone forget about the unit.

Classic triple nerf or triple buff. I'm pretty sure M20 just got triple nerfed with the Officer Manpower increase, build time increase for the M20, and then romoval of zook.

Time for Armor company M20 boiz, Jump out, smoke weapon teams, and get them with Thompsons xD

Removing the Bazooka is practically a buff in my opinion. Dropping the Zook on the ground when M20 dies was needlessly punishing and the USF player had no choice in the matter.

I propose the M20 mines have a cost reduction to compensate.

Time for Armor company M20 boiz, Jump out, smoke weapon teams, and get them with Thompsons xD


Then realize the weapon teams weren’t alone and you just gifted the enemy an M20.


Removing the Bazooka is practically a buff in my opinion. Dropping the Zook on the ground when M20 dies was worse bullshit than vehicle abandons.

I propose the M20 mines have a cost reduction to compensate.


Hell no, spammable mines that immobilize are a bad idea.

But the M20 was coming out at like 5 minutes with a 3 rifle build or ~4:20 with a risky 2 rifle build

that ~420 super rush (or now 4:40 with build time?) will be more possible with 2 rifles into 55 second officer now so we will see how much worse it is.

That said it will be equally annoying until for only 20 fuel until other light vehicles arrive

I would suggest a skirts reduction in cost instead of mines, It would not make sense to have 50 muni tellers and m20 mines costing the same

I'm fine with Skirt reduction too. My main thing is dropping the bazooka was pure cancer.

Also, the manpower nerf probably should've been compensated by adjusting the side tech fuel costs. USF has to pay the most if they want access to weapons/grenades/mg's, atg's.

Also OP, look at the bright side, M20 crews finally get the Thompson from Elite Vehicle crews! Also, if you are concerned about a luchs or 222, why don't you build a zooka on your LT or, I dunno, a STUART.

Honestly the bazooka was useless most of the time unless you're pulling the RE swap move (which I can't say I ever thought was a good idea considering you need REs for sweepers...) so that's all fine. The build time increase is stupid though. Especially if tech is going to be slower by itself anyway.

M20 is still great, I just think they should've removed the cheese mines and moved around the costs of the skirts or something.

Schu is just a standard mine. Riegel is just as awful, but at least its doctrinal.

If going to nerf it to that extent, it ought to be removed from the game, honestly.

I think it should have decreased pop or upgrade cost to compensate. Can't just take away things and get nothing in return.
