It's very disruptive to have to lose a smoke firing unit for a doctrinal upgrade. Give rear echs the ability to fire smoke while upgraded with the flamethrower. Problem is than then 200 mp infatry will be able to dislodge garrisoned mgs on its own. I would test moving the flamer to urban and merge with flame grenade that now would be available to RE. Rifle-grenade could be move to rifle-company and moved to riflemen using the AT grenade animation, on could combine it with a "hit the dirt" type of ability. That would probably fit the theme of both commander better. In: COH2 Balance

Some players drop because they know the other team is really good or their team sucks bad. And using CELO we see premades with ranks like top 50 against 9000 rank players. Is it fair to be forced to play that? And how many team games do you have where your partner makes a mortar or ambulance first thing. That game is over. There is no way you will win that. Alt-F4. Yes a ban should not never happen, I am talking about a time ban. It could be as small as 1 day. And one can wait 5 minute for a surrender even if his team is bad. In: Lobby

You cannot fight inconsistency with even more inconsistency. On the contrary, the suggestions are about increasing consistency: 1) Bring weapon that do to much damage to building inline with rest of the weapons. 2) Make hand held flamer ability to torch building doctrinal for all factions. Jump back to quoted post6 Oct 2020, 19:43 PMMr. Someguy My observations with buildings is that it's often hard to tell at a glance how stable a building is ever since they reworked building damage awhile ago. Stone and brick buildings almost never take visual damage even on the brink of collapse, the largest stone building could be one grenade from death but would have maybe 1 or 2 holes in it. I do not think it has to do with buildings themselves but with new AOE profiles of the weapons that was changed that do full damage to Panels. (read spoilers in post 8) In: Lobby

It just depends on the desired pace of the game and the current one does not feel off. To me it feels that infatry have too much damage. And that is why people are using less support weapons and more brute force... In: COH2 Balance
