An upgrade that boosts both AT and AI is poor design.

How would you know?
Axis gets both for free.

Soviets struggle at problem solving late game? Just no...

Soviets benefit the most from Osttruppen nerfs. 5men also got nerfed. Tbh though, I don't really get the conscript vet nerf because their combat strength isn't the issue. (sandbags and squad size are)

yes and suffer greatly from the triple T-70 and conscript nerfs... like the faction isnt already struggling in live...

It sometimes feel, like some soviet mains want their cons to perfom like tommies\rifles at some point of the game, while completly ignoring the fact that soviets have their elite inf in almost every single commander, for that excact reason.

And that is the problem: Almost every Commander - Not every Commander, not Stock. Stock Soviets are underequipped by design, it's a design leftover from the very earliest stages of CoH2's life. The Soviets were to make due with half their army comprised of sub-par units and using Doctrines to fill in the gaps. In my opinion, it is an obsolete design, and should have been changed when Ostheer T4 became standard tech, at the latest.

The Soviets are a faction of limited-ability mediocre units facing factions with much more versatile and powerful units alongside allied factions with much more versatile and powerful units. It feels like they have the kid gloves on and they're pulling their punches when their basic infantry doesn't get an upgrade and can only pick up one weapon, while other factions can upgrade their unit and pick up a new weapon. When their best tank is more limited than other faction's (excluding USF, who at least gets a decent tank as their only tank) worst tank (Cromwell/Panzer IV).

good changes to the cons. they were too much against ost late games. and now with nerf vsl grens. anyway it is 10% only! that translates to how many in game chances? probably a minor nerf

can i suggest make t34/76 a bit cheaper like -20mp -5fu, so it can come slightly earlier and combine with t70 or su76.

T34 is gonna need something, whether it's a discount or extra pen, because these timing and ram changes are sounding brutal.

The ram change is honestly a great idea. You're not gonna try to ram a with T34 without expecting it to die anyway.

Its not even gonna reach to target anymore, thats the problem. And if its at 50% hp and you repair it ram becomes unavailable again?

it will if you play it more aggressive. thats why a slight cost reduction is reccomended and also help with the t70 clutch unit meme.

This is a stupid ability. Let's now make it so that other units that have a stun ability require 50% HP - the British sniper cannot shoot or AEC cannot shoot without 50%, and so on. See? How ridiculous it is. The ability must be simple, or it is there or not, without any buts. Let's stop playing Dr. Frankenstein and sneer at the dead ability.

The mobilize reserve in T3 requires Molotov and Atnade upgrade to be unlocked but if you play Penals you don't get anything from those so why would it be a requirement to get bonuses on Penals.

There something I probably miss here.

Whatever you upgrade it at tier 3 or tier 4 both will slow down your tank.

These may affect a lot in 1vs1 match while you need to engage with panzer IV that currently arrived time is 12 minute.

the ram nerf is a T-34 nerf... there is no reason at all to nerf the T-34-76... if u want to make it less cheesy by nerfing ram fine... buff the base T-34-76

That ram change is guaranteed death, unless opponent went full retard and just drove a lone tank deep into your territory with zero support.

v2 change where it no longer immobilizes T34 is completely pointless in contrast of v3 change.

As long as they will keep digging that hole, I'll keep repeating myself:
STOP pretending about it and just REMOVE the ability from the game, give it something else in return, but don't act like the goal is to not make ram completely useless and realistically unusable.

Ram is an extra ability that T-34/76. T-34 has a vet 1 ability like most units. If one does does not like ram one can simply not use it.

Well that goes both way since soviet doctrinal units are available in most commander and are extremely cost efficient.

If one want to get rid the "design leftover" one will also have to reduce the number of commander these unit are available and power of those units....
