No, that's just silly and it doesn't buff DPS enough. At least 7-man increases durability. It meshes well with having the best sandbags in the game.

IMO just give Cons single DP upgrade That would be worse than 7 man Cons IMO, and I think Soviets need 7 man Cons for them stay relevant in the late game, especially if they lose previously vetted Cons. In: COH2 Balance |

Do you think Conscript 7th men is too much? I think they're fine, but I'll admit I don't see Vet 3 7-man Cons that much. If they still get that veteran squad leader buff where the squad becomes tougher (something like that) or they get a cover bonus, then I could understand removing that. But I like the 7-man upgrade and I don't think the 7th model by itself is too much. In: COH2 Balance |

Sorry, I really derailed the thread with my ideas. I don't mean for ATGs to be specialized in any form; I'm basically saying Axis ATGs should be generalist, while Allied ATGs can toggle between being very good against lights and mediums without muni cost, or toggle to maintain capability against heavy tanks but for muni costs and slower fire rate. As for the Soviets, it's not just a name change, more of a specialization. SU76 just doesn't work as a medium tank counter IMO. Poor penetration, doesn't have the speed necessary, and it's multirole purpose means it can't be too good at either. I might be wrong but I tend to think of it as a light tank counter that can also deal with team weapons. As for the issue at hand, yes, USF should have a Sherman redesign. Make HVSS/Wolverine stock, nerf the Jackson's fire rate or speed. In: COH2 Balance |
