Buff Obers timing and you'd see less Falls usage. Right now, Falls are the only AI unit OKW has that's worth a damn against elite infantry units. Obers come too late, need vet 2, and need an 60/80 muni upgrade just to stand up to vetted allied infantry.
Falls lost their Schreck and don't get double FG-42's until Panzer HQ is built.
They are fine.
If you see a problem with Falls, and don't see a problem with Shock Troops, the problem is you.
FWIW, I don't think they should get a nuke nade. I think they should get a quick/cooked nade instead, which makes sense in their ambush capacity, and FG-42 upgrade should include a smoke throw.
Might I say that Falls also feel extremely fragile and easy to lose? I get that they're supposed to be used as ambush/infiltration units, but I am always forced to blob them in groups or else they'll get chewed up before they can start mowing down Allied infantry. |
The Panther doesn't need an RoF buff. If it needs anything, it's an accuracy buff. But for now I'll just stick to Panzer commanders. |
If panthers role is to dive in to kill enemy TD's at high speed, it would make sense if panthers shots were more accurate, i feel that i have to rush in,stop and fire, and then move again, sort of negating the point of the tank itself.
At 490 MP 185 fuel and 18 pop, i feel it too risky to use on a regular basis, i much prefer stug's, elefant's and pak's.

Personally never liked them having 4 FG 42's. The FG 42 was supposed to replace the MG 34 for Paratroopers. It'd be like calling in Cavalry Riflemen and they have 5 BAR's.
Technically, they were all supposed to have FG42s, but of course, they didn't have the resources to do so. The FG42 wasn't designed as a squad support weapon like the BAR. It was designed as a universal select-fire battle rifle. It was supposed to be the standard rifle. It is essentially the StG of the Sturmpios or the Garand of the Riflemen. |
I made a thread about that before the scott was hit by the nerf hammer. That thing totally had it coming.
Back on my thread, the CalliOPe needs its armor nerfed so P4 can penetrate it at all ranges, maybe a mobility nerf after firing so schrecked infantry can catch up and destroy it if it is completely unsupported.
Why not just make it 2 shot like the Priest and Sexton? Keep the armor if it's too much. |
Change them back to the way they were but leave their cost the same 320 MP it is now and maybe reduce their reinforcement cost to 30 MP. Keep the 4 FG42s because those are cool. Get the snare back, weaken the received accuracy some, and put them back to CP3.
Agree on keeping the 4 FG42s. It's part of what makes the unit cool and unique. Nerf it however you want, but keep the 4 FG42s. |

No, there are many overpriced units with USF. If you want to make Pathfinders garbage fine, but why should they cost more than actual fighing units?
Why should Assault Engineers cost the same as Assault Grens but suck way more?
Why should Rets cost the same as Pioneers but suck way more?
While where at it, why should Rangers cost more than Fallschrimjagers but suck way more?
Assault Engineers have wirecutters, can build demo charges, can repair vehicle crits. They can also be upgraded with a flamethrower.
Can you upgrade Pioneers with 2 bazookas and a minesweeper? Sure, volley fire is a meme, but it can still support Rifles in certain situations.
Are Fallschirmjagers unkillable wipe machines? Yes, Falls are wipe machines, but they are easily the squishiest elite infantry in the game. I bet even Rifles can take more punishment than them. You're half right though, generic Rangers suck, and you need to invest a lot of muni in them for them to be good. But they have 3 weapon slots, and have veterancy buffs that even OKW players will envy. 3x bazookas on Rangers and 4x Thompsons + BAR make them more than worth that high cost. |

Armor/HP work together, and together form 1/3. How do you not understand that? They are both part of a tank's overall toughness. Have you ever seen a tank with high HP and shitty armor that can't bounce anything? Even Churchills and KVs will bounce shots from anything smaller than a Panther. |
I was only half serious about the dp upgrade but it is definitely an upgrade at all ranges past 1m over a conscript Mosin, and firing on the move its still better then the conscript Mosin at ranges past 10m. If it were a cheap 30 munition upgrade with fire on the move I could see it being cost effective, but I do think it would be a boring upgrade and we'd just have another LMG mainline infantry.
No, it's extremely silly seeing Conscripts firing an LMG on the move while Grens, Tommies, even Rifles can't. And you said it yourself - it brings nothing new to the game. |
