what i would like, is a pop reduction but add a muni income reduction (sort of like how pop cap reduces MP income, but with muni)
then you can build as many as your pop cap allows, but good luck mining to defend it, or having a snare ready for a dive.
then its not a hard cap, nor does it cripple your arm composition but it does impact your economy, especially if you build a bunch (like in team games)

Still takes a long time to kill, and who is going to take the time to hit it with the 4-6 incendiary granades? most times you can't even get near due to sheer amount of team weapons near it, even with flame haltrack you are more likely to die to small arms fire in the time it takes to torch the thing, sure it's not a problem with maps with 1 or 2 buildings, but on urban maps or with buildings near important resource points(especilly on 4x4) it's annoying as hell to deal with.
The new maps are 1v1 and 2v2 though, were FHQs aren't really a problem. Doesn't seem necessary to me. |

Let's see. Retreat is more often than not better than reversing because they move faster when retreating than reversing. It can also reverse pretty well now with the latest changes. So yeah, he's right.
I didn't mean to say that reverse is better than retreat. I just meant to point out that retreat isn't necessarily as flexible as reverse in certain scenarios. |

I think it's because it's so cheesy, not because it's so good. Retreat > Reverse move by a lot so you really shouldn't be equating those
I really wish they would redesign it without retreat, or just replace it with a regular AT gun. I really don't understand why it is the way it is. And assymetry by itself is not a good reason
Retreat is not always better than reverse. The Raketen can not creep backwards to safety and still be on the field, and Raketen reverse is very unreliable. |
I think axis players are too hard on the Rak, its a nice little ATG, very underrated.
I would remove the camo from it though. I dont think camo and anti-tank gun should be mixed but thats just my opinion lol.
I don't understand why Allied players overrate the Raketen so much, the Pak40 is so much better. Is it really that hard to reverse move your AT gun? |

They'd need to give SVT animations to every squad in every faction, and in some cases (USF Riflemen) SVT's are actually a downgrade from their default weapon.
