Ostheer is still post-Crete so they wouldn't fit with paradropped Fallschirmjagers, the only operation I could think of is the Mussolini rescue operation, which would be a glider instead. Besides, Ostheer already has Stormtoopers (Brandenburgers), and if you already have infiltration units, you aren't supposed to have paradrop units. UKF is the only outlier. The paradop is infinitely much cooler than the boring building infiltration, I don't know why you want to get rid of it so much. And even then it's not like the building infiltration is much more realistic. Operation Grief was an SS Operation undertaken by SS Fallschirmjagers, not Luftwaffe Fallschirmjagers. The only Luftwaffe unit present was Kampfgeschwader 200, which was not a Fallschirmjager unit. You said it yourself: Fallschirmjagers mostly fought as frontline infantry, which doesn't necessarily make infiltration any more realistic. If the paradop is really that big of an issue for you (which it really shouldn't), then allow Luftwaffe pioneers to construct beacons. In: Lobby

Fallschirmjager camo and heavy fortifications are the only abilities that make the doctrine "defensive". In: Lobby

As another doctrinal choice for detection you can have the 221 from elite armor. Somewhat skeptical of getting an IR HT in 1v1. Manpower is better spent elsewhere. But we do have nice doctrinal options to deal with Commandos. Not sure how good the Luchs and Puma are at detecting Commandos. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Jäger Armor is still the same BS than before25 Mar 2021, 20:50 PM Jump back to quoted post25 Mar 2021, 20:27 PMthedarkarmadillo i believe it is, however its area of effect is rather decent and its damage is fantastic. i dont really think there ios much issue in the ability though- but the ost "nerf" is more of a commander rabalnce than a nerf when compared to the soviet one as the AT strafe is better in some scenarios than the stuka nuka whereas the soviet one is simply worse in every way to the il-2 bombs I'm fine with the strafe being mediocre, it just surprises me that the strafe actually works sometimes. I've never used it nor seen it being used with success. In: COH2 Balance
